Service Teams

 Ushers and Greeters

The Usher & Greeters ministry team consists of a group of dedicated women and men who serve as greeters as well as ushers. We are the first to bring a warm welcome to those who come to our services.

Our team is blessed with individuals who provide service to the congregation with a smile and offer assistance when needed, i.e. finding seats, directing children to child care, etc. As ushers, we collect the weekly offerings.

On the first Sunday of the month, we also prepare Communion and serve it to the church family. The goal of these ministries is to see that you feel welcome as soon as you enter our church and to offer information and assistance when needed.

If you would like additional information or you want to be a part of this "welcome" ministry, talk to any usher, or contact Keith Whisenand.

 Video

Members of the Video Team operate the projection and computer equipment during each service. They work with the Pastor and Worship Teams to apply their computer skills in preparing presentations for use during the Saturday or Sunday Services. More than mere technicians, they watch and listen carefully during the service to coordinate the presentations with the worship songs and the message.

If you have computer skills that you are willing to share, or are interested in joining the Video Team, contact Pastor Rick James at 482-6335 for more information.

 Audio

Members of the Audio Team are trained to run the complex audio equipment during the church services. They are often the least recognized volunteers in the church... until something goes wrong. Then everyone becomes acutely aware of how important they are.

Do you love to listen to music? Would you like the opportunity to mix/blend the Worship Team instrumentalists and vocalists? Would you like to learn how technical music equipment operates? If so, this ministry is for you!

If you have a knack for the technical and an ear for sound, contact Calvin Beeker or any other member of the Audio Team for more information on how you can get involved.

 Tape Duplication

Have you ever listened to a Sunday morning sermon and thought about a friend who would benefit from the message? Has your faith grown and developed as you listened to a tape by a favorite minister? If so, you know the importance and value of the Tape Duplication Ministry. The Tape Duplication Ministry is dedicated to building the faith of believers. Volunteers prepare tapes from a variety of services and make them available to those who desire to hear the preaching of God's Word.

For more information on this valuable ministry, contact Calvin Beeker.

 Decorations

The Decoration Ministry Team is responsible for preparing floral arrangements for the sanctuary and in other portions of the buildings as needed. They also secure, arrange and dispose of flowers; work with the staff in planning and implementing decorations throughout the year for special events; and coordinate with the church secretary for flowers given in memory, or in honor, of individuals or special occasions.

If you have an eye for decorating and would like to get involved in this worthwhile ministry, contact Debbie Dillon for more information.
