Statement of Beliefs
These are the beliefs Nazarenes hold to be true:
We believe in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

Character of Our Culture
These are the character qualities we think make great churches:
PRAYER: We are a church of prayer. Empowered by our personal lives of prayer we gather to pray as a people. We start nothing without prayer. We sustain nothing without prayer. Prayer sets our agenda and future. If you want to be involved in the direction of CamNaz, join the prayer gathering. (Psalm 127.1, Acts 1.14).
UNITY: Our community is built on honor. We take responsibility for our choices and for choosing to love each other because God loved us. Behavior and appearance do not affect love. Our unity in the Spirit upgrades our potential to know God and be God’s hands and feet to others. This church is committed to Jesus’ model of resolution in Matthew 18. We seek to build a community where no one speaks of a conflict about another person behind their back, but confronts in love, assumes the best, and builds boundaries that protect love. (Matthew 18.15-20, Ephesians 3.17-19, 4.1-16)
COMPASSIONATE SERVICE: No one serves alone. The titles of Pastor, Staff, and Board are not positions at the top of an institution, but roles at the bottom supporting the framework of the dynamic Body of Christ. Together we support each other to discover and live in our unique role in the Kingdom of God. We empower each other to our greatest potential. We honor each other by accurately acknowledging who people are which positions us to give them what they deserve and to receive the gift of who they are. (Ephesians 2.8-10, 4.11-12, John 15.16, 1 Corinthians 12.12-20, Acts 6.1-4, 1 Peter 2.9, 1 Corinthians 12.12-20, Matthew 9.38)
FAITH: We allow God to help us live life confidently depending on God to be God. We expect our world to look less like earth and more like Heaven. We not only invite the Holy Spirit to be among us, we agree to be comfortable with whatever he brings with him. (Matt 6.10, 1 Thes. 5.19, Heb. 11.1,6, 12.2, James 1, 2 Peter 1.5-9)
WORSHIP: Our highest calling is to bring worship to our God. Our worship together comes from our daily living in the presence of God and ends with our physical, emotional, intellectual, and willful sacrifice to God. (Luke 10.27)
OUTREACH: Compelled by love we answer the command to go and make disciples across boarders and across the street. We don’t bring condemnation, we bring salvation. (Matthew 14.14, 20.34, 28.18-19, Mark 1.17, Luke 10.25-37, 15.1-27, John 3.16-17, 14.3, 6, Rom. 10.13-15, Rev. 20.15)
DISCIPLESHIP: We are in pursuit of becoming like Jesus. We commit ourselves to a relationship that enables our hearts to be students of Jesus. Together we are building a house of learning that inspires us to commit to our learning, to understanding more about God, and to uncovering our identity in Christ. This life, fused with identity, wisdom, humility, and confidence, is our legacy to the next generation. (Jeremiah 31:3, Song of Solomon 1:2, 1.4, 2.4, John 3.16, 15.1-27, Romans 8:38- 39, 1 Corinthians 2.6-16, 2 Corinthians 8.1, 13:4, 13.7-8, Ephesians 1.6, 1.18-19, 4.22-24, Hebrews 8:10, 1 John 3:1)
COMMUNITY: We are designed to be together, to pray together, to serve together, and to live life to the fullest together. God has made us to connect with others and to belong to one another. We do this through various small groups. (Gen. 2.18, Acts 2.42-47, Rom. 12.5)
CHRISTLIKE: We are called to be transform to the image of Christ.
LEADERSHIP: We believe the Kingdom gives up the opportunity to be leaders, leaders in our families and leaders in our community. We want to create an atmosphere that encourages people to lead and lead boldly!
EFFICIENT: No one likes red tape! We want to create an environment that enables people to come together and work together, not spinning our wheels!
Logos are important. They give a visual impression to who we are as a church. Our logo has a feel for our local area with hills and a beach sunrise. More importantly, the sunrise has an important message for us. We believe God is dawning a new day in our church with both a hope and future.
We take generosity and financial accountability serious. If you want more information about how CamNaz is investing God's money He has entrusted to us or information about how to give, click here.
